OUR ANALYZES
The PISCARE FOUNDATION considers that public policies are a strategy led by public institutions and administrations with a set of resources (human, financial and material) to act on a given structural or cyclical situation (infrastructure, health, family, housing, employment, Vocational training, research, civil service, crisis, deficit), in order to achieve a set of objectives (equality, justice, public health, social welfare) which are assessed on the basis of quality And the appropriateness of public intervention.
Based on the research it conducts, the Foundation provides innovative and practical recommendations with the objective of promoting democracy, the economy and social welfare. In this perspective, the Foundation wants to ensure that public policies play the role of redistribution when equality of opportunity is not assured initially.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
Besides conferences through which the Foundation devotes significant resources, our institution supports individual projects carried out by researchers through its "Research Fund". In addition, it sets up interdisciplinary research programs, flexible structures of limited duration, which make it possible to test the viability of emerging scientific questions or to constitute embryos of perennial teams. Finally, aids for symposia can be allocated to the research units.
The Piscare Foundation has defined two areas of research that meet specific objectives:
Promote experiments and knowledge production on subjects that are part of sensitive issues in the field of public action;
To create a space for exchange and partnerships between private and public actors, often distant from one another but whose complementarities appear essential;
Innovate innovative knowledge and thinking;
Encourage the opening of the Piscare Foundation to the debates and expectations of the City.
